Watercooler: Parks and Entertainment Strikes Gold
Parks and Entertainment This show is really damn good, it can make tax audits a pleasure. Despite the fact that it lost out in the Emmys, by pairing the bro-com-that-could-constitute Ben helping Tom Haverford balance Entertainment 7twenty's books using the Ron's impending audit as a result of his "hellacious nightmare" of the first ex, Parks and Entertainment still introduced home comedy gold last evening: A staggeringly funny script. Patricia Clarkson in Emmy-worthy shape because the soulless, gold-digging control freak that's Tammy One. Megan Mullally, ever sharp as Tammy Two. Sufficient bits with Tom's asshat partner Jean-Ralphio. And also the deeply unsettling good reputation for Ron's sexual awakening - filled with a vacation to the Swanson homestead and also the debut of Tammy Zero (his mother, performed by SNL author Paula Pell). It had been, as Take advantage of Lowe's Chris Traeger would say, litch-er-ally perfect. Actually, the only real factor this episode didn't have was possibly a viewer warning concerning the graphic content - we actually need to be ready before seeing Nick Offerman's alpha-male mustachioed god like a clean-shaven "neutered wimp"! But even which had us laughing our assets off. How about you? Think P&R an embarrassment of comic riches last evening? Sign up for TV Guide Magazine now!
